Biography:
Michael Curry was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on August 3, 1956 to Willie Tubbs and Mabel Curry. In 1963, Michael and his family moved to New York City where he would begin making friends and learning his community.
Michael was loved by many in his community for his funny disposition and his charming personality. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. Michael loved everyone and you could always count on seeing his big smile and asking how you were doing. He was a loving son, and a loving father as well as a loving brother, uncle, and friend.
Michael leaves behind: his mother Mabel Curry, daughter April Curry, grandson Allen, sisters Angela King and Debra McQueen, brother Edwin Curry, brother-in-law Jake King, aunts Moselle Curry and Cordell Rogers, uncle Levi Curry Jr., niece Patricia LeVere, nephews’ Shemel McQueen, Edwin Curry Jr., Lamar Curry; and a host of great nieces, nephews’, family and friends.
