Biography: Violet Nixon was born on October 24, 1920 to Anna Ball and Endsley Clark in Thomasville, North Carolina.
She was the first born child to Anna and Endsley, She was followed by a sister Wilhelmenia Clark on December 6, 1924.
She was a country girl with a strong religious upbringing. She married Franklin Nixon and had three children: Lawrence Nixon, Shirley Nixon and Calvin Nixon.
The family settled in The Lower East Side of Manhattan in the Lillian Wald houses for 20 years.
Violet leaves to cherish her loving memory, her loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
