09-28-1958 - 08-11-2018

Biography: Our beloved Terry “Joe” Anthony was born September 28, 1958  in Montgomery Alabama to Allen Anthony Sr. and Doris Anthony.

Terry, along with his family moved to Harlem New York for a few years, before moving to the Bronx. He received his formal education in the Bronx Public School System and later furthered his education at Bronx Community College.

Terry loved his job and worked for many years as a Customer Care Representative for the New York City 311 Call Center Department.

Terry was very intelligent, hardworking and creative.  Without any formal art school training, he was a self taught artist and had a natural ability to draw. His artistic sketching was exceptional.  He was able to look at a picture and duplicate it with tremendous detail.

Family was very important to Terry, and he knew from the beginning to the final minutes his life, that his family loved him dearly but God loved him more.

To celebrate his life and cherish his memory, Terry leaves behind his mother, Doris Anthony, brothers Allen Anthony and Michael Jiggetts Sr. (Lena Jiggetts), sister Shirley Anthony, nephews Mark Anthony, and Michael Jiggetts Jr., uncle Benearl Grays and a hosts aunts, cousins and friends.

Terry is pre-deceased by his father, Allen Anthony Sr. and his brother Fredrick Anthony.

We will see you again, “Joe” - when we, too, are called to enter our Heavenly Father's Pearly Gates singing; when we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory!

My family and I are deeply sorry for your loss. The pain of losing a love one can be unbearable. May God give peace and comfort to your family at this most difficult time. God is near all those brokenhearted and he saves those crush in spirit. Psalm 34:18. Very soon God will remove death forever and bring back our love ones who have died by means of a resurrection. Revelation 21:3,4 and Acts 24:15.
