Biography: On Tuesday, August 14, 2018 the life here on earth was stilled for Repus Watkins.
Repus was born on July 6, 1923 in Bun, North Carolina to Ida and Percy Watkins who preceded him in death. He had nine brothers and sisters: Coptolar, Albert, Leroy, Grates, Kayvester, Sylvester and sisters, Retha Mae and Emma Earl.
Repus served with the Marines for many years and after an honorable discharge, he gained employment with the transit authority for over twenty-five years.
Repus joined Greater Central Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Elbert Monroe; and he was faithful to the end.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving, faithful wife Geneva and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
