Biography: Fulton McElveen was born on September 15, 1964 in Manning, South Carolina to Ezell and Lillie Mae McElveen. He was the youngest of five children: Brenda, George, Olivea and Virginia. He and his family migrated from the south to Brooklyn, New York in the late 1960’s. Fulton was educated in the New York City Public School System. He grew up in East New York, Brooklyn. His family and close friends called him “Nan”, and “Dollar Bill”.
On November 15, 1983. He married Adrianna McElveen and out of that union three children were born. Over a decade ago, Fulton converted to Islam and became known as Solomon. During that time, he met his companion, Paris. Fulton didn't let his illness control his life. He was a proud man! He often visited casinos because that is what he loved to do.
God called him home on August 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Lillie Mae McElveen, his father Ezell McElveen, his brother George McElveen, his sister Olivea McElveen Bryant and his brother-in-law Edward Bryant. He leaves to mourn: his wife of 34 years Adrianna McElveen; ten children: Shavon Taylor, Shyanna McElveen, Sheniah McElveen, Anwar McElveen, Lathaniel McCoy, Ariana Caputo, Adonis McElveen, Javonnie Barker, Harmonie Barker and Jaden; six grandchildren: Tevaun, Brieann, Nizhaun, Tristen, Davon and Sharon; his companion of 13 years Paris Mason; two sisters, Brenda McElveen-Stunkey and Virginia McElveen; one brother-in-law Tracey Strunkey; one sister-in-law Angie Benjamin-McElveen; an aunt Eloise Fulton; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
