Biography: Willie M. Robinson born on August 30, 1942 in Athens, GA.  He departed this life on September 29, 2018.
 
Willie received his education in the Athens, GA school system. After finishing school, he relocated to the North and joined the
Navy.  He served in the Navy for 28 years.  During that time, Mr. Robinson earned two degrees from John Jay College of Criminal Justices.  Upon finishing college, he joined the New York City Police Department.  He faithfully carried out his duties to protect and serve the citizens of New York for 21 years.
 
Preceding him in death are his parents Willie Martin Robinson and Lela Bradley, his daughter Bridgette, sisters Magdaline and
Wilhelmina and his brother Robert.
 
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and faithful wife Lettie Mae; two sons, Dominic (Margot) Robinson and William (Charity) Robinson; daughter Yolanda Robinson; three step-children Greg, Terry and Tajuana; three sisters, Mary (Ambrose) McDow of
Athens, GA, Betty (Freddy) Smith of Florida, Sara (Henry) Tate of Athens, GA.  He is also remembered by is five sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
