Fatinma A. Walker

Fatinma A. Walker

01-09-1988 - 10-07-2018

Biography: Fatinma Walker made her entrance into this world on January 9, 1988 born at St. John’s Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. She was the proud daughter of Melinda Miles and Reginald Walker. Fatinma has two sisters Quanisha and Marquita Miles, three brothers Rashawn, Omar, and Damond Walker (deceased).

Fatinma attended Public School 92, Junior High School Thurgood Marshall in addition to Urban Peace Academy. Fatinma had a smile that would light up a room, and draw you in. She was a scholar athlete playing Basketball in both Junior High and High School, let’s not forget streetball.  When she wasn’t playing the sport she was there with full energy as a robust Cheerleader for Harlem Stompers. Fatinma also found joy in dancing ballet.

Fatinma met Anthony White at the innocent age of six, which later resulted in their nuptials in 2007; as a result of their union her most prized possession was created her one and only daughter Aniyah White. Despite life’s situations, frustrations, or circumstances she undoubtedly put care and love for her daughter above all. There wasn't anything or anyone that would keep her from her.

Fatinma created many memories with her sisters. She was her own personal hairstylist, at any given moment she would have a different hairstyle and wore each one with confidence. Fatinma was a true entrepreneur, she refused to work for anyone but herself. She worked on her own time and refused to “punch a clock”.  She was a motivational speaker, at any given time whether it was by social media or a quick conversation in passing one thing for sure and two things for certain she would always talk about “getting her coins”.

Despite the fact she was not a member of a specific church, she loved to attend Mt. Zion Baptist Church, she enjoyed a wide range of music, but her heart was gospel to the core. Fatinma touched many lives regardless of age or gender, and will truly be missed. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother Melinda; daughter Aniyah; two sisters: Quanisha and Marquita Miles; three brothers: Rashawn, Omar, and Damond Walker (deceased).; three nephews: Billy D. Miles, Legend Hill and Karif Walker; two  nieces: Aleighia Walker and Sharmaine Boltire; and several cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives. She also leaves a multitude amount of friends, both personal and professional; and her special friend that loved and cared for her Robert Dubois.
