Biography: Robert O. Tinsley, of Rye Brook New York, departed this life on October 14, 2018 at Greenwich Hospital. He was born in Leesburgh, North Carolina to the proud parents of Dorothy and Roy Tinsley on January 8, 1934.
 
He was preceded in death by his son Alex Tinsley (Lil Robert), James, Roy, Carl, Martin, Prince Albert (Butch), Morris Tinsley, Madelyn (Madi) Faison and Sarah Baynes.
 
Robert relocated to New Rochelle, New York at a young age. A few years later he met his “best friend”, Nanette and a union was formed that has lasted for 57 years. From this loving bond a beautiful daughter Tywanda was born.
 
For many years he served as a chauffeur. He enjoyed meeting and conversing with people and never met a stranger. He took great pride in his job and therefore you could count on him always showing up on time or maybe even early!
 
To know Robert was to know the meaning of true goodness. He was a very sweet, kind, loving person and all who met him, loved him. That was Robert’s gift and he gave it to people freely.
 
He is survived by his loving wife Nanette:;one daughter Tywanda (Michael) Porter, of Yonkers, NY, one sister; Shirley Baynes, of Yonkers, New York, grandchildren; Deanna (Aaron) Smith, of Maywood, NJ, Michael Jr., Mikayla Porter, of Yonkers, NY. Whom he loved dearly!
 
Left to cherish his memories are a host of nieces, nephews, friends,relatives and the entire Williamson family!
