Mr. Isaac Daniels, son of the late Asbury Lucas and Ingram Rosalee Daniels, was born October 2, 1935 in St. George, South Carolina. He was the oldest of two children. He departed his life October 10, 2018 in Queens, New York.
Isaac attended school in South Carolina. He moved to New York as a young man in search of a better way of life, where he married the late Helen Stephens Daniels. Five children came from their union: Jeannie Caffie, Rose Person, James Daniels, the late Joseph Daniels and Thelma Daniels Smith.
Isaac worked in construction for many years. He later began working for Vibro-Carting a private sanitation company where he later retired. Isaac had been retired over fifteen years, however he stayed active by walking daily and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed reading newspapers, watching TV preferably westerns and Baseball and listening to country music.
Isaac was a very happy and cheerful man. He was easy to talk to and always had a joke or two to share. He was loved by many and highly respected in his community. Isaac touched many lives and he will be missed.
He is survived by his four remaining children, Jeannie, Rose, James and Thelma, five grandchildren Keith, Tiffany, Sharon, Ta’Donna, and Renee and fourteen great-grandchildren, three son-in laws, three sister -in laws, six brother in-laws and a host of family and friends.
Isaac has changed his address to heaven where he has joined his beloved wife Helen, his son Joe and grandson Anthony and many more loved ones.
