Biography: Lois Rodney was born on November 26, 1932 to the late Eva and Louis Morgan in New York City, New York.  She departed this life on October 21, 2018 at the Block Hospice care Jewish Facility, in the Bronx, New York.
 
Lois was a resident of New York her entire eighty–five years.  She was highly educated and was skipped two grades ahead during her middle school years.  She then attended Julia Richman High school in Manhattan.  She studied nursing on Roosevelt Island and later graduated.
 
She was united in marriage to Julian Christobol Rodney in 1958 and to this union, three children were born – a son Julian Christobol Jr., a daughter Renee Cecile and the youngest son Andrew Louis.      
 
After finishing her nursing training, Lois went on to become a pediatric nurse at the Metropolitan Hospital in New York, where she loved caring for children.
 
She also worked for the visiting nurse service of New York and at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital of New York, in the Spinal Cord Unit and retired after serving for 16 years at the age of 67 leaving patients she loved and prayed for.
 
Lois joined Morning Star Full Gospel Assembly under the leadership of (the then) Pastor Charles Harris in 1979.  She was a faithful member of the Senior Choir.  She was a loving, and caring devout Christian and enjoyed being active in her church and was well loved by the membership.  She looked forward to Sunday worship service to praise and worship our God.
 
She was also active in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
Lois leaves to cherish her memory her children ~ Chris, Renee and Andrew, her grandchildren ~ Quiana, Blaine, Shareen and Shey.  She was also blessed to see her great-grandchildren ~ Terrell and Taurie. Lois also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces and nephews Deborah, Gary, Kisha, Melonie, Kimberly, Whitney, Anthony, William, Kayla, Darius, Martene, Imani, Tiffany, Josette and Barry all of whom she loved so much.
