Biography: Charrod Cariston Thomas was born May 20, 1994 in the Bronx, New York to the late Kendra Thomas & Charrod Becton. As the first born he was the apple of his parents’ eye spoiled with love by all. Charrod was a kind gentle spiirt, with a beautiful smile known to light up any room. Ever the jokester, he always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.
Charrod was educated in the New York City public school system until his family moved to Richmond, Virginia for a better life. There he met and fell in love with Hardaijah Young, a union that produced two children Katarva and Charrod Jr. His children were the pride and joy of Charrod’s life. The legacy of Charrod’s, love of family and zest for life will live on through them.
On Monday, October 29, 2018, at young age of 24 Charrod was called home to be with the lord. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
Charrod is preceded in death by his loving mother Kendra.  Charrod leaves to cherish his memory a loving father Charrod Becton, girlfriend Hardaijah Young and their two children Katarva and Charrod Jr, two brothers Isaiah and Duval, two sisters Chavon, Najour, his grandmother Michelle A. Boyer; aunts: Rosella “Bubbles” Rivers who he loved dearly, Sandra Thomas, Rev. Sonia Letsah, Carolyn Nicholson; uncles Tony Thomas, Deno Williams, Bryant Williams, Oscar Thomas, Darren Gray, and Cariston Thomas, his godfather Ronald Joyner and god brother Aronde Joyner, as well as a host of loving cousins and friends. We loved Charrod, but Jesus and his mother loved him more.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends. When death overtake our loved ones, we feel defeated and hopeless. Please take comfort in knowing our heavenly father is there to help us at this difficult time. Jehovah God promise to be close to the brokenhearted, and saved those who are crushed in spirit states, Psalms 34:18. Continue to search for strength and comfort through his word the Bible.
