Biography: Shakeshia L. Hayes was born on October 9, 1978 at Harlem Hospital to Charlotte Williams and Leonard Hayes and was raised by the other mother, Barbara Williams. Shakeshia also grew up with Tashea Grace and LaQuanna Oliver.
Shakeshia was a Harlemnite. She attended school in the Harlem-section of Manhattan. Later, she gave birth to her daughter Wynter Joy Robinson. Shakeshia worked hard at everything she did. She was employed at Pioneer Supermarket, Gristedes and later was promoted to Manager at the Restaurant Depot in Connecticut,
Shakeshia was well known for her laughter, loving and caring demeanor, appreciation for life and most of all her cooking, especially her fried chicken. There wasn't anything that Keshia couldn't cook.
Shakeshia cherished all her relationships in life, especially those with her daughter, family and friends.
On December 17, 2018, Shakeshia was called home by the Lord. She expired in Greenwhich Hospital In Connecticut she worked. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death but will be reunited with: her great-grandmother Williemae Grace, grandmother Anne Mae Hayes, grandfather Edgar D. Hayes and brother Donnell M. Hayes.
Shakeshia is survived by: her mother, Charlotte Williams; her father, Leonard Hayes; daughter Wynter Joy Robinson; the other mother, Barbara Williams; grandmother, Mary J. Brown; grandfather, John Brown of Little Rock, South Carolina; great-aunt, Allie Collier of New York City; stepfathers: Dwayne Williams and Duane Green of New York City; sister, Pastor Channell Williams from Fayetteville, North Carolina; four siblings: Ta-Shea, LaQuanna, Kittay and Leonard A. Hayes II; godmother, Williemae Taylor; goddaughters, Stephanie Arnold; best friend, Lawanda Phinazee; close friend, Shavone and daughter, Ariona of Charlotte, North Carolina.
She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and coworkers.  She will be missed dearly.
