Biography: Kathleen Johnson was born at Morrisania Hospital on June 18, 1958. She passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 6:46AM at Jacobi Hospital Medical Center. She went to be with the Lord our God, her mother Agnes Johnson and her father, Maceo Johnson, at the age of 60.
Kathleen who was also known as Lynn or Snookie, easily excelled in track and field, communications and community service! She was a die-hard New York Fan and a Harlem Advocate!
In 1976 Snookie graduated Washington Irving High School in New York City. She worked for community service organizations: People’s Care and Self Help. Later, she became an Administrative Assitant for New York City’s BCW-Bureau of Child and Family Services, in the Child Support Division. Kathleen aggressively participated in political action events, block parties, fundraisers, community outreach programs and non-profit organizations.
Throughout the years, Kathleen continued to be active in her community. She was outspoken, member of Harlem Senior Citizens Center. Tirelessly, she continued to share information regarding benefits for: veterans, the elderly, children and the disabled.
Kathleen Johnson is survived by: her two sons: Kasshawn and Ronald; her sisters: Katherine and Terriene; Lawrence Roberts—Kasshawn’s father.
She is lovingly remembered by: three nieces: Kayais, Tiara and Tamia; six nephews: Tshawn, Terrell, Tyshean, Tyshean Jr., Kassim and Treshawn; four cousins: Berlinda, Christopher, Curt and Tracey.
