Biography: Cynthia Burton was born in Brooklyn on August 18, 1968 to Sarah Burton and the late James Burton. Cynthia graduated from Tilden High School located in  Brooklyn, New York in 1987. She attended the College of New Rochelle in 2002.
 
Cynthia attended Salvation and Deliverance Church under the late Apostle William Brown and the leadership of Apostle
Jerome King. Due to her illness, she was unable to attend church. She would say, “When I’m feeling better, I’m going back to Salvation Church and y’all is going to have to hold me down from testifying and shouting about the goodness of the Lord.”
 
Cynthia met the love of her life Charles in 1993 and on August 15, 2018 they became husband and wife. Cynthia was preceded in death by: her father James Burton and her brother Andre Burton. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her mother, Sarah Burton; her husband, Charles Spruill; one son, Courtney; one sister, Lashema Burton Baldwin of Maryland; five aunts: Cynthia Lane of Brooklyn, Ozella Wooten of California, Annie Frye of Brooklyn, Nadine Hardley  of Las Vegas and Vickie Pearson of California; one uncle, Jimmie Grant of Brooklyn; three nephews; one niece; two brothers-in-law: Ray Clark of North Carolina and Raleigh Spruill of New York; two sisters-in-law: Johanna Spruill Clark and Diane Spruill; father-in-law, Charlie Spruill; mother-in-law, Blondell Moore Spruill; and a host of family and friends.
