Biography: On February 25, 1958, Shawn Lizette Goodwine was born to Rev. John L. Goodwine and Bessie E Goodwine in Queensbridge, New York . Shawn was the second oldest of four children.
 
Shawn attended and graduated from Long Island City High School. She was employed at GHI as a Medical Claims Analyst. She was married to Joseph Williams.
 
In August of 1989 Shawn confessed and received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and then was baptized by Fort Motte Baptist Church.

Shawn enjoyed to cook and did wonders with tuna. She also loved listening to R&B Oldies. But what she might be best remembered for was how  particular about her hair, which she literally spent hours on and there was not a mirror she was able to walk past without stopping to admire herself in front of.

Shawn departed this life on  January 15, 2019 at MJHS Hospice. She leaves to cherish her memories her parents Rev. John L. and Bessie E. Goodwine; her sister  Gwendolyn Porter and husband  Robert Porter; her brother Rodney Goodwine and wife Venice; her sister Robin Bullock and Rev. Robert Bullock; her Aunt Carolyn Prince and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She will greatly be missed by her family.
