Biography: Edith Huckless Randolph was born January 5, 1922, and left this earth on February 13, 2020.  Edith was the last of the 6 Huckless daughters born to the late John and Cora Huckless, a Deacon and Missionary for Shiloh Baptist Church.   Her sisters May, Martha, Viola, Irene and Christine pre-deceased Edith.  Her husband Freeman and beloved daughter Sharon, along with a host of other family and friends, welcome her with loving arms in heaven.

She has left an adoring family including:  son Eric and daughter in-law Shelia, grandchildren:  Raymond Thorpe, Eric Jr., Adom and Shayla Randolph; and five great grandchildren.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews including:  Kim and Uma, Idell, Gary and Martin; Dorothy, Ronald and Ivan; Barbara, Donald, Fatima and Kelly.

Edie is mourned by special friends Bertha, Clara and Evelyn.  She was a Trustee Emeritus at Shiloh Baptist Church for many years, and worked for the City of New York for more than 30 years.  She even sold Avon products during her free time.  Edie's positive and gentle touch was felt and shared by many lives along her sunshine journey.

We share with you one of her favorite Bible passages, The 23rd Psalm…

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
