Biography: Mr. Louis Cook was born to John and Louise Cook on August 19, 1939 the fifth of seven children. After attending high school in St. Petersburg, Florida, he moved to New York City where he met his wife of sixty-one years Roxie Shinaul and raised three children: Louis Cook Jr. Sherrisse Shinaul and Georgia Shinaul.
He was preceded in death by Roxie Cook (wife) mother and Father John and Louise Cook, John Jr, and Ervin Cook (brothers), Mary and Dorothy Cook (sisters) and grandson Kenneth (KK) Kimble.
He leaves behind to mourn: his children: Louis Cook Jr., Georgia Shinaul, and Sherrisse Shinaul; daughter in-law Josephine Cook; Brothers: Norris Cook and Dr. Willie Cook; Grandchildren: Shamar, Shatisha, Sheamara, Jeffrey, Janay, Jewell, Tiffany, Terell and Carlos; Great grandchildren: Mia and Zafirah: Sisters-laws: Dorothy Holloway and Hattie Shinaul; Brother-laws Lucious Holloway Robert, Pete, James and John Shinaul; Special nieces and nephews: Aisha, Tara, Angie and Robert Jr; and a host of nieces cousin and friends.
