Biography: Mr. James Wallace Mosley Jr. so fondly known as “Wallace” was born in St. George, South Carolina on December 27, 1955 to Katherine Mosley and the late James Olin Mosley. On August 26, 2020 the Lord called James home after a year long illness.
 
James attended public schools in New York City. He graduated from Julia Richman High School. James attended New York University and studied Business Administration.
 
James held various positions: he was a supervisor at Pitney Bowes, MTA bus and Access-a-ride operator. His last position was patient equipment technician at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York City. He also had a knack for repairing things and that knowledge helped him assist with the family business.
 
James loved to read the bible and was a member of Mt. Neboh Baptist Church in New York City.
 
James met Felicia in 2000 and they got married in 2009.
 
James my husband was the best man a wife had ever asked for! The big heart he had for his family he would do anything that he could for you. If you were feeling down James would pick you up with a joke or a story. When something was bothering me and I started to cry James would say don’t cry baby everything will be alright, leave it up to the Lord and the Lord will handle it. James will always be in my heart. I loved him!!
 
James was preceded in death by his sister Catherine D. Williams.
 
James leaves to mourn: his wife Felicia, his sons James Jr., Stefon and grandson Adian; his mother Katherine Mosley; sister Janette; brother Shelton; mother and father-in-law Spring and Peter Hamilton; brother-in-law Brandon;  sister-in-law Bianca; Uncles Mayo Ravenell NYC; Irwin Ravenell NYC and Floyd Ravenell S.C.; Aunts Evelyn Washington S.C., Edith Ravenell S.C.; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and dear friends.
