Biography: Samuel Lee was born to Verlean and James Lee on December 15, 1956.  He was the youngest of Verlean’s children.  Sammy attended public school in the New York City School System.
 
He met and fell in love with Theresa Thorn, who later became his loving wife.  When she left in death, that was one of the hardest things he ever had to deal with. 
 
On February 9, 2018, he became very sick and had to be  taken to the emergency room in Mount Vernon, New York.  God sent an angel to bring him home.  Sammy was trying to tell the angel that he needed to say goodbye to his loved ones, but the angel told him that God loved him more and his assignment here on earth had been completed.  When Sammy saw the beautiful bright light, it was the most magnificent thing he had ever seen.  He went to be with the Lord with no more pain and no sadness.
 
He’s looking down on us and saying I made it.  I am okay.  Thank you for your friendship and prayers.  I made it Home!!
 
Sammy was preceded in death by his siblings, James and Elsie Lee and Theodore Davis.
 
Sammy is survived by: his daughter, Latoya; son, Rondell; sister, Barbara Ladson and brother, Londel Davis; granddaughter, Kilston; five nephews, 4 nieces, five grand nephews, 4 grand nieces, one great grand nephew and one great grand niece.
