Biography: Siluer A. Johnson, was born on June 30, 1932, to Olivia and Leon Johnson. He attended the Famous Douglas JHS and Basketball Mecca Dewitt Clinton High School.
Siluer married Margaret Panton in 1953. They had three children: Kim, Sandra, and Rodney. Siluer and his wife lived in Harlem, New York. After several years they relocated to Fort Greene, Brooklyn until 1972. They then relocated to Queens.
Siluer had five brothers and one sister: Sam, Lemuel , Ernie, Ossie, and Leon Johnson Jr. and Jay.
He will be greatly missed, as he was a peaceful soul and an International King. “True Legend” he loved jazz and tennis.
Siluer is survived by many nieces, nephews, grands, and great-grands; one brother Leon Johnson Jr. and one sister Jay and one daughter-in-law Darnell Johnson; son-in-law Abdoulaye Diop; and a host of friends and very close associates. Fly High Mr. Johnson, you’ve earned your wings.
