Biography: James C. Bullock was born June 27, 1946, the third of five siblings. James was born to parents James Clifford Bullock Sr. and Hattie Williams in New York Presbyterian Hospital. James grew up in Harlem New York where he attended Elementary, Jr. High, and High School. He met his first wife, Celestine King (predeceased) and married in 1965 and soon thereafter joined the United States Marine Corp.
Uncle Jimmy, as he was so lovingly called by his nieces and nephews and all of their friends, were big on family. He enjoyed bringing everyone together for any occasion, As a young man, his hobbies were sports, especially Boxing and Soft Ball. He taught most of his family and neighborhood kids to box and to the day he took his last breath, he joked about having one more knockout in him!
James spent the last 47 years in a loving relationship with his 2nd wife Brenda Hart, whom was by his side at the time of his demise.
James was predeceased by his loving Mom and Dad, his three sisters: Ella Mae Jones, Barbara Jean King and Debra Ann Bullock. One son, Darwin and One grandson, Michael.
James will be truly missed by many friends and family. He leaves to cherish his memories: Aunt Rosalie P. Bullock, his wife Brenda, his childen: Travon Fox Singleton, Maxine Folson, Arnold Fox, Terrence Fox, James Bullock 3rd, Theresa Bullock, Calvin Hart, Shamecca Hart Bunce, James Hanton, Shaquesha Hart, and Shakeem Hart. Grandchildren: Travon Fox, Tyasia, Arneisha, Arnold Jr., Aren Williams, Morgan, Gavin, Ronald, Christine, Crystal, Christopher, Chantiese, James Jr. 4th, Taylor, Thaddeus, Jayden, Zyquill, Nasir, Jamie, Jay’eri and Kari. His special “grannies” as he called them: Equisha and Kori Hart. He also leaves a many cherished nieces and nephews, great grands and loving friends.
