Ida Lee Cohen was born in Allendale, South Carolina on April 8, 1962. She departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2018.
Ida was born unto her mother Evangelist Roberta Hampton and father Ernest Frazier.
Growing up in South Carolina, Ida attended the local public schools. She relocated to New York City, where she graduated and attended a Business College. Ida found a beautiful career working for Mr. Stein at Rite Check ,where she retired as a Manager.
At an early age, Ida attended Beulah Community Apostolic Church with her mother and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Later, Ida joined The House of Prayer Holiness Church For All People under her brother, Pastor Bernard Cohen. Her commitment and love for helping people echoed in every aspect of her life.
Loving memories will linger in our hearts of her mother, Evangelist Roberta Hampton; her father, Ernest Frazier of New York City; two brothers, Pastor Bernard Cohen (Melinda) and Steve Frazier of New York City; two sisters, Yvonne and Lisa Frazier of New York City; Ida’s fiancé, Artie Erskine and stepson, Tayrica; several aunts and uncles; three godsons, Terrence Martin, Michael Cohen and Johnathan Sanchez; a very close niece, Khalia Bush of Atlanta Georgia; a very close aunt, Pauline Hampton of New York City; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
