Biography: Johnny Lewis Floyd was born on September 16th 1957. He was born in Wetumpka Alabama to Beatrice and Bernard Floyd. He was the fourth of four children. His family moved to NY in the early sixties. He attended a couple of elementary schools before attending James F. Cooper JHS and graduating from Benjamin Franklin HS. He gained employment at the Federal Reserve Bank straight out of high school. He worked there for several years. He also worked at the main Post Office downtown Manhattans and at LaGuardia     Airport for a short period of time. Most people will remember him for the time he spent helping his elderly parents and the time he spent helping to care for his grandchildren. He used to say that he could wear out a pair of shoes each week with all of the running he was doing. He was know to exaggerate!

He met Virginia Mull and became father to three daughters. Deidra Mull preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his older brother, Edward Floyd and his sister, Lera Floyd. Last year he was preceded in dead by both parents Beatrice Floyd in June and Bernard Floyd in July.

He leaves behind: Virginia Mull and their daughters, Natasha Floyd and Nicole Floyd (NY); his sister, Barbie Rowdy (Jerome) NC; six grandchildren, Eric, Ayanna, Jonathan Jr., Tania, StarAsia and   Nevaeh; Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, grand Nieces and  Nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

He will be missed!
