Biography: Marjorie Walker was born June 19th, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to the proud parents of Carl Allen and Mayme Reaves-Walker.
As a child, she lived in Kansas City, Kansas where, she attended Dunbar Elementary and later graduated from Summner High School. She then attended Kansas University where, she was a radio show host and gained instant popularity. She graduated with an associate's degree.

In 1977, she married Gary Anthony and from this union, they had one son, Stephen Anthony-Walker on April 10th, 1978. Later that year, the marriage dissolved. Marjorie decided to move to New York in 1985 and worked for numerous of companies but the highlight of her work endeavors is when she started work for the New York Times until the Lord called her on May 2nd, 2018. Marjorie is survived by: her son, Stephen Anthony-Walker of Sacramento, CA;  Grandchildren, Alexis Wooden of Raytown, MO; Stephen Anthony-Walker Jr, Adara Anthony-Walker of Las Vegas and Jayden Anthony-Walker of Sacramento, CA.
