Biography: Christine Rose Morrison was called home the evening of February 24, 2025. Christine was born on September 9, 1951 to Charles and Eleanor Purdy in Brooklyn, New York. She was the last daughter of six children.

Christine completed her education in New York City. Christine dedicated over 20 years of service working for services for the underserved and was a union delegate for 1199 SEIU.

Christine was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, niece and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and was always available in times of need to offer support, wisdom and love in abundance.

Christine was full of life and always had a contagious smile. Her trust and faith in God never wavered, regardless of the difficulties she encountered.  Christine was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

She leaves to uphold her memory and legacy: four children: Yvette McMichael, Harold Moody, Jr., George Morrison III and Raymond Godfrey Jr; nine grandchildren: Terrell Godbold, Brandon Morrison, Tyreik McMichael, Yvette Moody, Isaiah Moody, My’Allah Beverly, Ri’Lee Chatom Godfrey, Mia’Raye Chatom Godfrey and Aiden Provet; two great-grands: Ian Morrison and Jada Godbold; one aunt, Loretta Kelly; nieces, Regina Delsion and Roxanne Kimbrough; two special daughters: SueWayne Chatom Godfrey and Michelle Calderon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
