Biography: Ronald Ashley Williams was born in Belize City, Belize on October 27th, 1971, to parents Gilbert and Violet Williams.  He was the first of 2 children.

Ronald grew up at 15B Cemetery Road with an extended family including parents, sister, grandparents, aunts and cousins.  This is where his love, kindness and humility developed.   Ronald also loved village life as well.  Easter and Summer Vacations were spent in Maskall Village where he spent his days on his grandfather’s plantation.  He loved going to the plantation early in the mornings to help with planting. cultivating and feeding of the animals. 

Ronald attended Holy Redeemer Primary School and Belize Junior Secondary School No. 1 where he studied building.  He moved on to Belize Technical College where he graduated from the Building Department.

After formal education Ronald was employed at The Glass Shop on Cleghorn Street until he joined the Building and Repairs Department at the Belize Army Camp in Ladyville.  While working at Belize Army Camp, Ronald was offered an employment opportunity in Miami where there was a need for workers with his skills.   Ronald accepted the offer and migrated to the United States.   After working in Miami for a few years, Ronald moved to Los Angeles California, Rockford Illinois and finally settled in New York.

Ronald was an avid sports fan.  He loved baseball, basketball and football.  He loved the Chicago Cubs as he used their logo on his social media accounts.  Ronald also loved the Chicago Bulls.  Whenever the games were on you had to be quite as he concentrated on the game as if he was the 6th man on the court.

Ronald spent his final days working with AIM Belize picking up customers packages to be sent home in Belize.  It was a job he enjoyed as he would see many family members and Belizeans monthly.  He loved driving to Miami and would call and say “keep my company and we would talk for hours about what is happening in our lives.  I am already missing these conversations.

Ronald as you join our parents and family in eternal life, I would like to thank God for lending you to us for 52 years.  You were a hard worker, a great father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.  I will forever remember your words when battling with making decisions.  You would always say to me “ Get up, you know what you need to do” or “Do your best and everything will work out alright.”   As we bid farewell comfort is taken in knowing Ronald kind heart will continue to be a part of us.  He was a blessing in our lives and his memory will forever be a part of who we are.  Rest easy brother, your work here is done.   You will forever be missed and always remembered. 

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Sharole;  Sons: Daryll Jones and Ronald Williams Jr.; Daughters: Julia and Roneisha Williams; Granddaughter: Sofia;  Sister Roxanna Williams Chavarria, Nephew; Peter Chavarria III and his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
