Biography: Andrea Carter was born on December 30, 1950 in South Carolina to the late Ethel Mae Carter. Andrea departed this life on April 22, 2025 in Bronx Lebanon Hospital at the age of 74 years old.

Andrea was the eldest daughter of nine siblings. Andrea migrated from South Carolina to Harlem, New York where she obtained her GED Diploma. She also received many other certificated as a peer leader and home health aide.

Andrea was stern but she had an enormous sense of humor and quick wit that would have you in stitches. She always filled a room with laughter wherever she went. Andrea enjoyed time with her grandchildren, watching Al Pacino movies and reading her bible.
 
As a home health attendant for many years, Andrea did her job with pride, caring for others, often putting herself last in order to make sure everyone else was okay. She was a loving, caring and compassionate person with a big heart.

Andrea leaves behind to cherish her memories: three children: Kimberly Carter, Corey Carter and Bridgette King; three grandchildren: Korea Carter, Jeremiah Robinson and Isaiah Almonor; and one sister, Vivian Carter.
 
Andrea was preceded in death by: her mother, Ethel Mae Carter; daughter, Brittany King; siblings: Kenneth Carter, Nathaniel Carter, Frank Watson, Annette Guischard, Samuel Ragland, Carolyn Ragland-Jones and Scott Ragland.
