Biography: Floria Lee Goldsmith Murray was born in Branchville, South Carolina to the union of her late parents, Willie and Carrie Goldsmith on July 1, 1945. She entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2025 at MUSC Health in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Floria was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She touched the lives of so many through her love, generosity, and acts of kindness. At a very early age, she accepted Christ as her savior and was an active member of her church, Mays Chapel

United Methodist Church until her death. She adored the church and her church family.

Despite her illness, she was unwavering in her faith and love for God even up until the very finalmoments of her life.

Floria was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard Murray. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Willie Goldsmith, Jr., Alex Goldsmith, Albertha Daniels, Donald Goldsmith, Alice Seabrooks, and Jeanette Goldsmith.

Loved ones who will cherish memories of her are her children, Shelia Lincoln, Reginald (Tonya) Murray, Jermaine (Wendy) Murray, and Theresa Murray. Her two siblings, Gloria Gilyard and Ernest Henderson. Her brothers and sisters in-law, Truman Daniels, Ruby Goldsmith, Virgie

McBride, Helen Murray, Gladys Murray, Clarence Murray and Isaiah Owens. Her grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews whom she treasured and loved as her very own.

On behalf of our dear mother, we would like to thank the following persons for your unwavering love, support, and compassion towards our mother during her time of extended illness. Your many acts of love and selflessness did not go unnoticed. Whether it was caretaking or just

making sure she was safe and had everything she needed, we appreciate your efforts. She considered many of you her extended sons and daughters. We pray God’s blessings upon all of you and your families.
