Biography: Carlos Patrick Pacheco was born in New York City to Paulette Andre Rigaud and Gilberto Pacheco. He was a loving son and dedicated father. His early years were enriched by experiences in both the United States and Haiti, shaping a broad perspective on life. He attended school in Manhattan and graduated from Louis D. Brandeis High School. Carlos furthered his education by taking college courses and becoming a skilled craftsman. He excelled in work requiring intricate attention to detail and precision. Carlos worked as an independent contractor specializing in carpentry, plumbing, and home improvement projects.

Carlos was a strong believer in self-improvement. Therefore, he followed a healthy diet and exercise regimen. He was an avid reader with a keen memory. He loved music and often played the drums for a local band. He received great satisfaction in the creative process of designing leatherworks, crochet hats and gloves. Further, he enjoyed practicing the elegant art of calligraphy. Carlos was loyal and loved his family deeply. He possessed a kind heart and was always ready to assist others with open arms. He often bought clothes and supplies for those who were in need and offered his help.

On Thursday, the 31st of October 2024 at Mount Sinai Hospital, in New York City he departed this life to join with God. Carlos leaves to mourn in love his mother Paulette Rigaud; his three children Loela Pacheco, Loera Pacheco and Manoloe Pacheco; four siblings Dr. Gardy Rigaud, Dr. Alix Magloire, and Mrs. Wanda Gelin and Gilberto Pacheco, Jr.; two sisters-in-law Fanita Magloire and Eglintine Rigaud; four nephews Alix Magloire, Jr., Joshua Magloire, Berhane Gelin, and Jean-Herbert Rigaud; two nieces Djuana Rigaud, and Rajani Rigaud; five grandchildren Luther, Lavanna, Lamercie, Miracle-Ariel, and Marisol; with a host of loving uncles, aunts, and cousins, of the Rigaud, Pacheco, Julien, Magloire, Gelin, Vielot, Souffrant, Hyppolite, Joseph and Dyer families, as well as very close friends.
