Biography:

Rakim Belton , 31 , also known as “Moonie” aka “Rah Money” , son of Tawana Mosley and in loving memory of Elliot Belton, passed on February 21st 2026. Moonie was born July 25, 1994 in the Boogie Down Bronx.

Moonie was known for his chinky eyes , his hilarious yet dry laugh and his swaggy stiff dance moves . He loved being with his family and having a good time; eating food and vibing to great music. He was a creative, outgoing, independent boss that wanted to protect and build for his family. 

He once stated, “Love ya with all mines u heard , everything gonna be safe and sound real soon. It’s gonna get better in time so just keep holding it down. You know we look good on our worst days. Always stay safe and remain healthy.”

Rakim had a very bright and beautiful childhood. His mother Tawana Mosley loved him very much. When he was younger, she always dressed him up in cute little outfits and had professional photoshoots taken of  him. As he got older he remained photogenic and camera ready no matter the setting or environment . He knew he was a handsome, fly, young man since he was young . 

Rakim had a lot of goals and dreams. One of his goals was to build a stronger bond with his son Rakim Belton Frazier Jr. Rakim Jr. is 9 years old and he’s a very smart, fun, energetic handsome young man just like his dad with a really bright future ahead of him. Rakim wanted teach his son the ways of life and protect him from the world. No matter the circumstances, he will watch over his son.

One of Rakim’s dreams was to start making more music professionally and create his own clothing brand called “ Mr Chihkn”. These dreams will continue to live on along with the memories of all his loved ones.

Rakim Belton is survived by his amazing mom Tawana Mosley and his beautiful sisters Keyana Little and Tashae Mosley, his son Rakim Belton Frazier jr; Father figures : Sentel aka old man and in loving memory of his father Elliott Belton; Cousin : Tyleek George Mckelvey; Brother : Elliot Belton; Aunts : kizzy, Crissy, Amanda and Amber; Uncles : Jermaine , Jaylen , Glen and Justin; Grandparents: Karen Mosley and in loving memory of Candy Belton , Vernon Chambers and Norman Reid and Great Aunts : Beverly Mosley, Cynthia Mosley, Deborah Mosley, and in loving memory of his Great Grandmother Beatrice Mosley; A niece, a host of cousins, family and friends.
