On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, Rodney Elliott Peterson slipped into eternal rest at Albert Einstein Hospital in the Bronx.
 
Rodney, was born on March 4, 1967 to the Late Essie Lee Peterson in Bronx Lebanon Hospital, in The Bronx, New York.
 
Rodney dedicated over 20 years of service to FedEx, working hard and advancing through the ranks until he earned the position as supervisor.  His career reflects his commitment, leadership, and years of dedication.

Beyond his dedicated career at FedEx, Rodney also took time to prepare taxes for many people during tax season.
 
Rodney enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including reading, playing basketball and watching basketball games. He also, loved to barbecue.  One of Rodney’s most unforgettable qualities was his infectious smile.
 
Rodney leaves to cherish his precious memories: his daughter Kayla Peterson of Tampa, FL; his son Rashad Taylor of NC; his fiancée, Tyneil Butts, of the Bronx, NY; his brother, Desmond ( Deanna) Peterson, of the Bronx, NY; four step children; Dyani Woodson, Camille Stovall, Daryl Scott, and Terrel Scott; one aunt, Minnie Guillot of Charlotte, NC; two uncles, Anderson (Judith) Peterson of Washington Ville, NY and

John Edward Peterson of the Bronx, NY.  Also four cousins who are like brothers;  Darrell, (Michelle) Guillot, of Eutaville, SC; Erick (Leslie) Guillot, of Duncan, SC;  Brian (Kenya) Guillot of Locust Grove, GA; Don (Norma) Peterson of Wyndanch, NY;  one niece and a host of nephews, cousins and friends.
