Biography: Thomas S. Glover was born on September 23, 1934, the oldest child and only son of Thomas Glover Sr. and Dora Glover. Thomas lost his mother when he was very young, but thankfully his father’s sister affectionately known as B.B. stepped in to raise him and his two sisters.
 
At 17 years of age, Thomas enlisted in the Air Force and served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars of which he earned honorable discharges. Returning to the United States after the Korean War he accepted employment at Lockheed and married his sweetheart Johnnie Mae Mitchell. While employed at Lockheed he attended Lehman College earning his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and later attended Columbia University earning his Master’s degree in Social Work and graduating Summa Cum Laude.
 
In 1981, Thomas entered into the Criminal Justice System where he retired as a Senior Court Officer in the Supreme Court after twenty seven years of service.  In his leisure time he often enjoyed playing golf with the judges and lawyers he worked with in the courthouse. 
 
Thomas is survived by his sister Jean Trotter and her husband Emory, his twelve children, Gale Armstead, Kenneth Glover, Gina Tull, Rhonda Ramos, Thomas Glover, Karen Perry, Doreen Foy, David Glover, Elana Glover, Elizabeth Glover, Vanessa Glover, Denish Glover, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
