Biography: Reflection on the Life of Sister Juanita Rosemary Dean Morgan
 
On Tuesday January 1, 2019, God graciously took the breath of life from His child, Juanita Rosemary Dean Morgan, to whom He lovingly gave life to on March 10, 1948.
 
Juanita was the fifth child of the late: Mr. William and Mrs. Estelle Dean, born and raised in Harlem, New York. She was educated in the New York City Public School System.
 
She was employed by the New Jersey Postal Service for over 30 years before her retirement.
 
She met and married her life partner, Ivan Morgan and had a loving relationship for over 38 years.
 
She joined St. Luke A.M.E. Church on Aug. 3rd, 1997under the pastorate of the former Pastor: Rev. Melvin E. Wilson and continued to serve faithfully under Rev. Marcellus A. Norris, the current Pastor.  She was a dedicated member of Class #29, Hostess and Hostess Ministry and the Trinity Choir.
 
Juanita dedicated her life to singing.  Her passion and joy was singing.  She was a member of The McDonald Gospel Fest Choir, The New York City Housing Choir and The National Action Network Choir.  She was known for enjoying life and living every moment to the fullest. 
 
She was preceded in death by her three Sons: William, Michael and Leon Dean; Brother: Leon and Sister: Vivian.
 
Juanita leaves behind to cherish fond memories: Her Loving Husband: Ivan; Devoted Daughter: Stephanie Dean; Mother-in-law: Freida Morgan; Siblings: Wali Hassan, Harold and Melvin Dean; Sisters-in –law: Talibal Hassan, Norian, Barbara Dean and Antoinette Morgan; Brother-in-law: Gary Morgan; God-Brother: Rick Anthony Richards and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and great friends. She was loved by everyone and will surely be missed.
