To "B" My friend, my mentor, my father-in-law it's with tremendous sadness that I'm writing this, for a man who lived a life many men could only dream about. I'll miss our talks, our laughs, our drinks together and especially our MANY, MANY WAR STORIES. But most of all I will miss you BERT BELL. Love You Always.
Your personality was bigger than you, and for that you will always be remembered and missed. Sleep in peace until we meet again.
When I met Bert I was immediately drawn to the love he had for his daughter Shontae I saw right away where she got her humor from. Bert's kindness toward those he met will always be remembered. We will miss you!—Simone

Wowwww! Always have .... Always will love you Uncle Bert. Our greatest lesson was FAMILY FIRST♥️.
You have know us since we were little kids coming around to MOM BELL'S RESTAURANT. Always acknowledged us and let us know we mattered. Our two last great memories was when G.G. took us to Farfina's for Rita's birthday and we laughed all the way through Uncle Bert with you sharing stories. The other is when we were at the hospital with you. The video is priceless. We shared your tears and laughter that day sooo we knew it was serious. Uncle Bert we showed you our love then and your love will forever ring in our hearts. We carry you with us forever and always.

Uncle Bert was one of the most loving compassionate individuals anyone can ask for, you always made it your job to put a smile on your family and friends faces because by Nature you had a sense of humor that was impeccable, incredible and definitely one in a million... I will never forget when me and my two aunts was chilling on 145th Street talkin to my grandmother out the window and next thing you know who's coming down the block in the G wagon uncle Bert LOL.. I love you Uncle and you will be so miss.
