Biography: Chontee Robinson was born on March 27, 1961 in Harlem, New York to Jimmy Robinson and Theolia Lucas. At the age of 13 she moved to Riverpark Towers in Bronx, New York. While living in the Bronx she attended Roosevelt High School.
Chontee was outgoing, loved to dance and was a strong minded woman. She was a big fan of Michael Jackson. Chontee would go to his concerts with her younger brother Todd Lucas. She loved her little brother Todd very much. They even created a dance crew (Todd couldn’t remember because the name changed everyday). Chontee was the only female on her block to ride a unicycle. She also loved to impersonate people.
At the age of 18 years old she had her first child Anthony (Tony). Afterwards, Chontee would go on and have four more children.
Chontee was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Robinson and sister Tonya Lucas.
She leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Theolia Smith; brother Todd Lucas; sons, Anthony Gomez, James Barron
Robinson and Quon Carlos; daughters Joy Robinson, Precious Robinson and Tracy Gomez; grandchildren, Anthony Gomez, Jr. and Lucas Tony Gomez; significant other Anthony (Kamel) McDonald. A host of aunts, cousins, friends and nephew.
Chontee departed this life on July 8, 2019. She will be forever loved.
