Biography: June H. Thomas was born on March 19, 1950 to her parents Mable and Edward Tatum she was one of four children. June was loved by many; she had a vibrant smile and a contagious laugh. She built long lasting friendships and an excellent rapport with colleagues at work. Although it may have seemed short lived, June lived her life, she loved to sing whether it be at church or recreational, dance and she really loved to travel. If she didn’t have to stay in one place for long, she was on somebody's flight.
June loved to help people. She spent her last days at St. Luke’s Hospital where she worked as a first responder tending to the needs and helping so many others before she succumbed to her illness in the early hours of the morning on March 10, 2021.
June was married twice and raised three sons, who she is survived by Lawrence Mobley Jr, Sean Mobley, and Chad Mobley who she shared with her predeceased first husband Lawrence Mobley Sr.
June Thomas is also survived by her grandchildren Lawrence Mobley III, Destinae Morales, Tianna Morales, Daniel Morales, Briana Mobley, Shaniyah mobley, Hannah Mobley Deshawn Hughley from Lawrence Mobley Jr. and daughter in-law Deshawna Mobley. Laneshia Mobley, Tanayia Mobley, Javon Mobley, Geneva Vassell, Lia Mobley Rasheda Quinton, Shanise Quinton From Sean Mobley and Daughter In-law Shauna Mobley. Jaylen Mobley, Dorrion Mobley, Tyrell Mobley, A’Miqa Mobley, and Chad Mobley Jr. From Chad Mobley. She was also the great grandmother to Faith Morales, Melanie Morales, Melakia Hughley, Deshawn Hughley Jr. Areia Hughley, Naomi Quinton, and Nadia Quinton.
June also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by Mother Mable Tatum and sister Pamela Strong.
