Linda Arce, “Wendy”, age 57 passed away suddenly on November 23rd 2021. She was born June 29th 1964, in the Bronx, daughter of Linda Lee and the late Ramon Arce. She is survived by her mom Linda Lee, 6 children, Pia, Ray, Leah, Lesean, Unique and Juan IV. As well as 14 grandchildren. She also leaves behind siblings Herman, Gigi, Mimi and Papito, their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda has been reunited in heaven with her dad Ramon, brother Sean, son Chaz and “niecephew” Lisa.

Linda was a hard working chef, if circumstances were different she would have been a doctor. She loved her medical shows. She started her mornings off with coffee and reading a newspaper. Her hobbies also consisted of solving crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. In her mind she was a contestant. She also loved spending time in the water whether it was the beach or a pool.

Linda never knew a stranger and a stranger didn’t know her. Her heart was pure of gold and she made everyone feel at home. She was a loving, caring and giving individual. She loved to joke and play! You rarely if ever, never saw a smile on her face! She would light up any room and help out anytime she could. Family time was very important to her as she really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. While her favorite words can’t be found in the bible, no matter what she was going through she acknowledged God! She was very loud and proud! She wore her life well! Fly high our beautiful butterfly!

Butterflies are not only beautiful, but also have mystery, symbolism and meaning and are a metaphor representing spiritual rebirth, transformation, change, hope and life. The magnificent, yet short life of the butterfly closely mirrors the process of spiritual transformation and serves to remind us that life is short.
