Biography:

Barbara Cooper was born June 12, 1943 to Robert Ford Sr. and Addie Robbins.  She was the oldest of their three children. Barbara attended George Washington High School, where she

graduated and later furthered her education at Hostos Community College where she earned her Associates Degree. 

Barbara married twice and two children were born out of these unions: Tracy Fountain and Harry Burwell, Jr. Barbara was employed by NYC department of Social Services where she retired as Director.

After a lengthy illness Barbara transitioned from this life on January 23, 2023. Barbara was known to be a loving, kind soul.  She leaves to mourn, her two children Tracy Fountain, Harry Burwell Jr. Son in law Larry Fountain Sr. daughter in law Desiree Burwell, grandchildren, Larry Fountain Jr. Mary Fountain, Xavier Burwell, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
