Biography:

A Time to Be Born: 

Roberta Mae Taylor was born March 15, 1959, in New York New York to parents;  William Hart and Delores Blake. Preceded in death by parents; William Hart and Delores Blake and siblings; Wilhelmina Taylor and Edward Taylor. 

A Time to Live: 

Roberta Mae Taylor attended School at Wadleigh Junior High School and Brandeis High School in New York. She lived in Brooklyn NY for some time where she had a great childhood. She then moved back to Harlem where she had her Daughter Taneeka Taylor and worked hard to take care of her and her family. She finally moved to Bronx NY where she then had her daughter Tonisha Taylor and took in her son Tyriek Taylor while going to Monroe College and working as a Wedding Planner, Childcare Provider, and a Toll Clerk. Roberta aka Boobie was known for her spunk, entrepreneurial endeavors, and style. She was a ferocious and loving grandmother, community leader, and resource for those sometimes overlooked or misjudged. She lived full, fierce, and independent - a woman with determination and grit.

A Time to Die: .

Roberta Mae Taylor was called home on March 28th, 2023 

A Time to Mourn: 

Roberta Mae Taylor leaves to cherish her memory her daughters; Taneeka Taylor-Brown, Tonisha Taylor. Son Tyriek Taylor. Son-in-law Nicolas Brown. Grandsons; Clifton Howard Jr, La’Royce Ford Jr and Kadir Barnes. Granddaughter; Ronisha Valdez. Siblings; William Taylor, Trumilla Scott, Patricia Briggs and Michelle Taylor. Goddaughters: Shatemia Ryer and Aisha Smith. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, dear friends, and neighbors from 2000 Valentine Avenue.

I AM BLESSED HIGHLY FAVORED AND DEEPLY LOVED BY GOD!
