Biography: Kevin James Kibler was born in New York City on August 7, 1962 to the James and the late Beatrice Lawyer Kibler. The only child, Kevin grew up in the Bronx. At an early age Kevin accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and joined Canaan Baptist Church where he worshiped and was baptized. This was under the leadership of the great Rev, Wyatt Tee Walker, He worshipped there for many years. He attended Primary school at St. Raymond’s Catholic Academy, in the Bronx. He attended and graduated from Aviation High School in Long Island City.

In September of 1983, he enrolled at Taylor Business College in New York City; there he met the love of his life, the former Michele Chatham, this relationship blossomed, the progressed their love and affection by joining in holy matrimony on October 31,1984. The union brought much joy to his life and a son Kevin David Chatham Kibler better known as Lil Kevin. Kevin was employed as a driver for Access-A- Ride. He was intelligent and excelled at everything he put his mind to. Kevin loved Football, Basketball, his favorite football team was the Giants and his favorite basketball team was the Knick. He always supported his wife because she loved until this day the Lakers. He also loved Cars, music, and dancing. Kevin loved good cooking, and he could cook because he loved to eat.

Kevin Leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Michele Chatham Kibler, his son, Kevin David Chatham Kibler, his granddaughter, Khaila Alexis Kibler, of Harlem, NY; his Father, James Kibler, of the Bronx, God sister, Lawanda Bazemore Green, God brother Bakari Gaynor of St. Helena Island, S.C; Cousins that were more like brothers Anthony LeGare, of New Jersey and Gary Bazemore, of New York. There were 5 Aunts, Louise McCluney (Elder George), Mary Green (William) of Hilton Head, S.C., Martha Bazemore, of New York City, Louise Sharon Lawyer, of Savannah, G.A., 3 Uncles, Jimmie Lee Kibler Roberts, of Savannah, G.A., Edward Lawyer of Bluffton, S.C., George Lawyer, of Hilton Head, S.C., a host of cousins and friends, and a special friend Michelle Miles.
