Diane McClure

07-04-1950 - 12-29-2024

Biography:

Mr. Jermel McClure, Ms. Teisha McClure, members of the McClure family and friends: Today we say goodbye to Diane McClure who was a mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin and friend.

Diane was born on July 4, 1950 in Manhattan New York and departed this life on Friday December 29, 2023.

She attended the New York Public School system. Upon completion of her education Diane worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years.

Diane was the fifth of seven children. She was always considered the “fun” one by her siblings. She had a smile that was infectious. It could light up a room.

Diane was always the life of the party. It didn’t matter if she was parting by herself or with 5 people, she was going to have a good time. She loved to dance to all music with a special fondness to R Kelly and Jaheim. If you asked her about either one of these artist she would respond by saying, “that’s my boy”.

Diane was the mother that loved and cared for not only her own children but all of the children in the family. She was that grandmother, auntie and cousin that you could confide in. Five minutes into the conversation she always wanted to know if you were dating.

Diane always had a slick saying. If you look around the room I’m sure the person next to you would agree. She would say things like, “what u sayin, that’s my boy, I got me a shorty”. I’m sure there’s plenty more.

We are not sad today because Diane has passed. We are sad because we will no longer be able to witness or feel her love and kindness in the family and in the world.

Diane McClure has gone home now to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and those she has lost. While leaving us who grieve her passing with loving memories to last for a lifetime.

Diane McClure leaves to mourn her passing; her two children, Jermel McClure Sr. and Tisha McClure; nine grand-children, Charlie Trotman, Jermel McClure Jr., Brianna McClure, Quinay Jenkins, John McClure, Belinda Stokes, Jacob McClure, Maxine McClure and Mason Judge; One great grandchild, Romel McClure; Five siblings, Lillian Aiken, Eliese Canales, Reginald McClure, Sheila Bradley, Yvonne Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

May God Bless Diane McClure and may she rest in eternal peace.
