Biography: The truth is memories are but glimpses and moments and no single memory or even the collection of memories from a single person will ever adequately define an individual.

Constance was born on July 11, 1932 and ascended into heaven on June 24, 2025 Constance was educated thru the Public School System of NYC attending P.S. 10, and Commerce High School; she continued her education at Brooklyn College & City College receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree Constance was a Youth Counselor at the James Weldon Center; she then went on to work for the City of New York where she retired.

Constance enjoyed Basketball, Dancing, Music, and having a good time wherever she was. She loved to travel touching every point above and below the equator. Each continent, state and country

Connie was a member of many social groups NAUW, ATA, PTA, & NAACP.

Connie was a dedicated member of the Church of The Master where she wore many hats , and served on many committees Trustee, Elder, Credit Union, Master Activist, Chancel Choir, Silver Strands, she was always willing to give of herself.

Constance is survived by her brothers Freddie & Jimmy, and Sister Katie; sisters-in-law Yvonne and Arlene; Nieces: Karen & Marion (which she raised as her own) Constance “CC” and Anita; Nephew: Charles Bunn ; A multitude of Great nieces and nephews, God children, Cousins, and extended family.

Constance was preceded in death by her Parents Charles & Gladys, Brothers Donald & Sonny, Nephews Curtis, Vernon, and Michael; Adopted brother Melvyn Louis; and Life partner Keith Matthews.

I believe that it is our individual and collective memories that tell of a woman that continued to be there thru each generation no matter what the situation. They tell of support and care. We can always look back and hear that voice in our sprit thru the end of each of our lives and the lives we touch. This is a celebration of life not a meet and greet.
