Biography: With Deep Sorrow and Heavy Hearts, we announce the passing of Katrina Patricia Taylor, also known as, Auntie Boo and KT, who went to be with the Lord June 16, 2025 at the age of 52. 

Katrina was born in Brooklyn, New York September 19, 1972 to the parents late Wilhemina Taylor and father Kevin.  She was raised by her Grandmother, the late Delores Blake Taylor in  Harlem, NY.

Katrina was educated in NYC.  She attended schools PS207, Wadleigh JHS and Louis D. Brandeis High School, she obtained her Certificate as a Home Healthcare Provider she worked for the last 15 years.  She took pride in her work. She was dedicated to her clients.

Katrina was a devoted Mother who loved her children Deeply and enjoyed spending time with them since the day they were born.

Katrina was part of a sisterhood named TFF, she enjoyed Cooking for all the gatherings, Katrina was the Life of the Party, her Singing and Dancing brought energy to the Atmosphere but don’t get it Twisted she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.  Katrina took Pride in herself ALWAYS, ALWAYS UP TO PAR.

Katrina was a proud Grandmother to Samara, Amari, Jaleen Desiree, Maylani Malakai. Her love extended to her nieces and nephews Dwayne Jr., Shawn Jr., Germaine, Taron, Shawn, Amar, Niasia, Shakeema, Autumn, Amara and Princess. Her Godchildren Kiana, Jayce and Rylee.  

Katrina was preceded in death by her brother Dwayne Taylor Uncles William and Edward Taylor, Aunts Ethel and Roberta Taylor She leaves to cherish:  Shalek Taylor, Jaleek Taylor, Christy Chitty. Her siblings Delores Taylor, Amar Taylor and Rontisha Taylor. A Host of Loving Aunts and Cousins.

Katrina legacy of love, laughter and joy will live in the Hearts of everyone that knew her.  She will be deeply missed but Never Forgotten.
