It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Edward Taylor Jr., who departed this life peacefully on May 20, 2026, at the age of 86.
Born on April 3, 1940, James lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He was a man of strength, wisdom, and integrity whose presence touched the lives of all who knew him. Throughout his life, James worked diligently, built meaningful relationships, and left a lasting impression on his community through his generosity and compassion.
James found great joy in spending time with his family, sharing stories, offering guidance, and creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations. His warm smile, gentle spirit, and sense of humor will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
James Edward Taylor was born to the late Evenly Simon & the late James Edward Taylor Sr.
He leaves behind a loving family including, his spouse Betty Hill, his siblings Evenly Solomon & Ricky Solomon, his children James Edward Taylor Jr, Tony Taylor & Melvin Hill. Grand Children Kahron Hill, Khaleek Hill, Kahmel Hill, Melaysia Hill, Ziah Hill,Angelina Hill, Tianna Taylor, Darius Taylor, Javon Taylor, Jasmine Taylor, & Chandler Taylor. Great Grand Children Twins Kalmrel Jr & Kahlia.
and many other relatives and friends who mourn his passing while celebrating a life well lived.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in the legacy of love, faith, and perseverance that James leaves behind. His memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
