Biography: Our beloved father, brother and uncle, Lawrence Michael Dodd, went to sleep for the final time on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
 
He was affectionately known to his family as Michael, and to his friends as Larry, he was born on October 23, 1954, in New York City, New York. He was the third child born to Wilbe and Katherine Dodd.
 
Michael lived a life marked by love, resilience, and devotion to his family. His kind heart, warm smile, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. Michael had a few hobbies he truly loved such as painting, as evidenced through his apartment which he turned into his canvas. He also has a passion for cycling, whether it was riding a pedal bike through scenic trails or cruising the open road on his motor bike. His artistic spirit and adventurous nature will be remembered by those who knew him.
 
A devoted father and cherished brother, Michael treasured the time he spent with family and friends. He will be remembered for his strength, compassion, and the lasting impact he made on those fortunate enough to share in his life.
 
Left to cherish his precious memories are his beloved son, Lance, siblings, Laura, Lynn Leslie, his nephews, Timothy, Torrance, Terrence, LeAndrew, and Dale; his niece, Conisha; and a host of loving cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
 
Though he has departed from this earthly life, the love, lessons, and memories he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
 
Michael will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
