Biography: Vivian O. Maxey was born on April 11, 1943 in Charleston, South Carolina (Union Heights) to the late Joseph Lambright, Sr. and Mattie (Graham) Lambright. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Maxey, Sr.
 
Vivian loved the Lord and especially loved her time with extended family and friends, on the choir and in her community at Southern Baptist Church in Harlem, New York, where the presiding is Reverend Dr. Keith W.Roberson, I. Since she was a child, Vivian strived to work as a secretary for a big company; so she cherished her time at the New York State Department of Parole in the Bronx, New York. Vivian was a strong, quiet woman who let her strength show in her faithfulness to God and her commitment to family and friends.
 
Vivian leaves behind a legacy of loved ones who cherish her memories dearly: her loving children Frank (LaSheen) Maxey, Jr. and LaKisha Maxey (Antonio Clinton); grandchildren: Derek Maxey Ward, Dalen Maxey Ward, Destiny Foster and Dazia Foster; the love of her life, her great-grandson Sage Ward; Laurynn and Lynnox Williams, LaMari Duren and Liyana M. Kaba; her siblings: Jacquline Lambright of New York, New York, Betty Lambright (Wilton Yarde) of the Bronx, New York, Leroy (Korotha) Lambright of Anaheim, California, Senious Bernard (Clementine) Lambright Sr. of North Charleston, and Dianne Bonner of Norfolk, Virginia; and her remaining in-laws: Betty M. McKelvey, Deacon Charles I. Maxey, Sr., Rose M. Page and Minister Anna M. (Harry) Montgomery. This includes her goddaughter, Darlene Chatman of North Charleston, childhood friend Leila (Vernon) Haynes of North Charleston and a host of nieces, nephews, their partners and children and other close family and friends.
 
She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Lambright, Jr.
