Biography:
Cheryl Ann Miller was born to the late Gilbert Miller, Sr. and the late Annie
Miller on February 29, 1956.  She attended All Saints Catholic Elementary School, Mother Butler Memorial High School, and graduated with a BS in Political Science from the New York Institute of Technology. Cheryl later completed the CASAC (Credentialed Alcoholism Substance Abuse Counselor) Program at Hostos Community College.
 
On November 22nd, 1972, Cheryl Ann Miller was wed in Holy Matrimony to the late Blaine Anthony McShall, Sr.  From this union, three children were born: Nicole, Blaine Jr., and Jared.Cheryl spent many years working as an administrative assistant in various fields until she retired to take care of her granddaughter, Autumn, in 2013.  Cheryl was an amazing caretaker to her grandchildren: Nicholas, Mekhi, Menelek, and Autumn; as well as her great-niece Aubrey.
 
Cheryl was a pillar of knowledge for all who knew her. She devoted herself to spiritual and metaphysical growth through dance, meditation, prayer, and a holistic lifestyle. In the late 90s, she completed the Sacred Woman Program under Queen Afua, dedicated to the values she believed in.  Her given name was S’Arthra which means “Infinitely Pure”.  In 2015, Cheryl began her studies in Vortex Healing (Transformational Healing).  She completed many classes under the program and was fondly known by many including close friends Lorraine Goldbloom, Suzanne Demas, Simon Deacon, Caroline Sullivan, Jill Sullivan, Hilary Stillman, Ruche Laurita, Carol Ann Lally, and Robin Griffin. Cheryl was a devoted matriarch for her family and will be deeply missed for her wisdom, generosity, warmth, and nurturing spirit. She is imprinted in the lives of all who knew her. The sun set for Cheryl on December 23, 2019.  Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Gilbert Sr.; brother Gilbert Jr.; also, Blaine Sr., Reginald Duran, and Carl Alexander.
 
Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter: Nicole; two sons: Blaine Jr. and Jared (Norma); three grandsons: Nicholas (Chantler), Mehki, and Menelek; one granddaughter: Autumn; three sisters: Terry, Desiree, and Robin (Radu); two brothers: Jerome (Michele) and Tyrell; eight nephews: Gilbert III, Keith Jr, Brandon, Jayvon (Synia), Kai, Shane, Jymelle, and Duyrell; five nieces: Lakiya, Dominique, Jasmin, Grace, and Precious; two aunts: Naomi Barnes and Winnell Jackson; one uncle:   Samuel Jackson (Gloria); two great-nieces: Aubrey and Su-Lee; one great-nephew: Ari; close friends/family: Cathlena Battle, Eileen Hernandez, Sheila Smith, Veronica Atkins, Matt Hubbard, Donald Geddie, Anaja Harris, Shayron McLean, and Chynna Johnson; her entire Vortex family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
