Biography: Obituary
 
Anthony Glover, better known as Tony to family and friends, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the proud parents of Newman and Bessie Glover on June 1, 1942.
 
Tony was raised in Clairton, Pennsylvania, the outskirts of Pittsburgh.   Tony graduated from Clairton High School in May 1960. Not long after graduating from high school Tony relocated to New York City and never looked back.
 
Tony obtained employment with MABSTOA, where he worked as a Bus Operator. Tony retired from Transit after 20 years of service.
 
Tony enjoyed the finer things of life. He lived his life to the fullest.
 
Tony passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. He is survived by: his life partner Cora Lykes; one daughter Lori Glover; two grandchildren: Jerome Glover and Zoe Hiltonglover; one great-grandson Jerome Glover Jr.
 
He will also be missed by his two sisters: Catherine (Bill) McKnight and Shirley Glover; two nieces: Tyeast Grissom and Carlyn Draper; nephew Shannon Glover; five great-nephews and other family and friends.
 
Tony was preceded in death by: his father Newman Glover, mother Bessie Glover, daughter Tami Glover, sister Marcia Glover and one nephew Tyawn Glover.
 
I, Lori Glover, would personally like to give a special shout out and say Thank You to Cora Lykes for taking good care of my father the last years of his life. 
 
RIP and RWG Tony you will be missed.
