Biography:
Antonio Hill-Diego 89, of Orlando, Florida passed away on September 13, 2019 surrounded by family.
Tony, as everyone would call him, was born on May 10, 1930 to the parents of Jose Angel Hill-Morales and Nicolasa Diego-Nunez in Puerto Cortes,
Honduras.
Tony received his education in Puerto Cortes, Honduras before coming to the United States in 1971. Upon his arrival he then met and married Patricia Hill-Nee LeGare in 1973, whom he was married to for 32 years before her passing.
Tony was hardworking. He worked for many years in the laundry field until he retired in 1989.
Tony was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, kind words and goodspirit. He always maintained a positive outlook on life and he shared that with everyone.
You could always find him in the kitchen cooking his favorite meals or telling stories. He enjoyed the company of loved ones or relaxing outside taking in the warm breeze which reminded him of being back home.
He is preceded in death by Sebastian Benedict.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his children and grandchildren:Jaqueline and Winston Walters, Michael, Janae, David; Kevin and Tyese LeGare, Nafia, Nakwan and Nyjal; Tanya LeGare, Nicole, Kyeshia and Kevin; Terrence LeGare, Mikell, Tenya and Tekyra; Paula Gonzalez, Ashley,DeeDee, Alexander, Alexi, Elecktra and Aniya; thirteen great-grandchildren: Taliah, Nicole, Nicolis, Charles, Tavon, Juelz, Kayden, Tristan, Jeremiah, Le’nell, Lillian, Khari and Jacobi; four sisters-in-law: Phyllis Dowdell, Yvonne LeGare and Rosalyn Davis, Marva LeGare; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
