Biography: To everything there is a season and the time to every purpose under heaven.
Statchmore Stephenson Turner was born on June 12, 1949 to Estella and Kenneth Turner, the second of six children along with sisters: Camella, Marina, Magretta Melrose Ester and Alba his outside sister.
He attended Bolans Primary School and the Antigua Grammer School. After graduating he migrated to the US Virgin Islands. After sometime there he migrated to the United States of America where he fathered three children: Stacy, Steve Junior and Jah-Kenneth. He was also the grandfather to: Dominique and John; his great-grands Morgan and Madison.
He enlisted in the Armed Forces as a Marine. Upon leaving the Marines he moved back to Harlem, New York where he was self-employed as a handyman. He met some of his best friends Adam, Winkie, Curt and Shaw while working as a handyman.
He hit a low point in his life but God made a miraculous change in his life. The Lord made him a brand-new man with a new name, “Steve”.
Steve had many friends throughout New York City. He was loved and respected by many. In the last few years Steve became closer and closer to his family. In the weeks leading up to his transition he called his sister and said his goodbyes.
On September 19, 2019 Statchmore Stephenson Turner, affectionately known as Steve, made his transition. His survivors are his: sisters: Camella, Marina, Margretta, Melrose, Esterlyn and Alba; nieces and nephews; cousins both in the Turner and David Family; his children and grandchildren and many friends too numerous to mention.
